Chuyến tham quan Tour Classic Classic is the easiest way to travel, when people don't have special requirement of interest. So we define classic tours are those tours to destionations and services that can accommodate many people at once, mostly sightseeing. Depend on each market, the classic tour might variable but can be the most widely known destination in traveller's country. It's usually applied for first time goers to a country or for SIC (seat-in-coach) groups. In Vietnam, classic destinations are Hanoi, Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Hue, Da Nang (for Asians), Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh city, Cai Be, Can Tho, Ben Tre. Sapa is now classified as a classic destination by it's capacity of accomodating mass tourism. In Laos, classic are Luang Prabang and Vientiane. In Cambodia, they are Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Well-known beaches are also classic destinations: Vietnam with Phu Quoc (all market), Nha Trang (Chinese and Russian markets), Phan Thiet (Russian), Da Nang (Asian including Japanese, Korean and other South-East Asian countries); Cambodia: Sihanoukville. This doesn't mean the traveller to the classic destinations are classic travellers. There are always special services or locations everywhere that are reserved only for few. If you're interested in a simple classic tour, please email us at info@magnoliatravel.vn Tour Authentic There isn't an exact definition for what is "authentic", but as by the name, the "authentic" tour offer tourists the so-called "authentic" experiences, including activities, monuments, visiting sites… Authentic tour offers meaningful experiences that are closest to local's lifestyle, when tourists can immerse themselves into the culture. These places might be found in destinations of mass tourism or not, but the experience should show real life of the people within destinations and hence isn't a spot or activity of mass tourism. Normally even during a classic tour, few authentic experiences should be included. But we define a tour "authentic tour" based on intention of the traveller to design a tour with more than 50% of the excursion dedicated for discovering the culture. In an authentic tour, the selection of accomodation become more flexible: not a traditinal hotel, but we welcome also other kind, depend more on the characteristic of the place, from homestays (homestay in stilt house, AirBnB-like kind, or retreat house, villa...) to 5* city hotel (for example Metropole Hanoi for its storical value), or a wellness retreat with traditional touch. Retreat Retreat is a tour when tourist wants to stay at least 3-4 days in their vacation in one location to rebuild energy. The activities of retreat tours usually packaged within the accomodation place with day or half day tour around the place in combination with spa/massage/meditation treatment. In this kind of tour, accomodation is very important. Whether it is a resort, a hotel or homestay or a glamping site, Magnolia choose those that makes you feel like home, where you have the feel that you can stay for days, even weeks: The facility and the room must be surrounded by green to ensure privacy and comfort. The facility must be far from source of big noise and unheathy air. That means there is no construction or main road nearby, preferrable in the mountain or in an small private island. Last, but not less important, there should be a reasonable price, and dedicated service for a longstay. Wellness activities like spa/massage treatment, meditation or Qigong is optional, but there will always be trips (halfday or fullday) to discover the surrounding area. If you find these description fit you, please write to us at info@magnoliatravel.vn for listing of our retreat accomodations. Tour Luxury As by the name, it's called luxury tour to use 5* (or above) services including hotel, transportation for visit, during the trip. With Magnolia, luxury is where you can find your most comfortable and private service and discover local culture and life style. The transportations are always well-sterilized and well-prepare before use. Whether it's a community-based or a mass touristic style, all experiences are private and exclusive. Responsible Travel Sometimes, Responsible could be confused with authentic experience, but based on intentions of the travellers, we call it a Responsible tour if there are such criteria: The traveller actively wants to support local community: we will select vietnamese service providers instead of big corp, for example, local hotel instead of international chain hotel, local restaurant with fusion or local food instead of international one Less emission during the trip or excursion: infact, slow travel is the best way to experience a country, and at the same time it produce less pollution Using organic product and/or encourage recyclable goods. Visiting responsible enterprises: there are many local enterprises that promote sustainable life style, preserve primitive forrest, preserve vietnamese's original herb and medicine; projects to recycle and regenerate... Visiting NGOs project sites: currently, Italian's GTV (Gruppo Trentino Volontario) and Mekong Plus are our close partner. Magnolia Travel's proud to be the first to set up MoU and partnership with them, to send tourists to visit their stunning project sites in Son Dong - Bac Giang, Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang (GTV) and Vi Thanh - Hau Giang (Mekong Plus). Thanks to our expertise in destination management, each and every staff that participated in organizing this product understands and is well-educated about the meaning of every component (excursions, selected accomodations, transportations, on-site guides…) during the trip.
